Spring is over..

Spring is over. With temperatures approaching 30 degrees Celsius, snow is a distant prospect. In recent months, skiers, hikers, young families, and many cyclists have flocked to the Waldhof. Meanwhile, the garden is ready for summer, the breakfast room ("die Kneipe") has been given a makeover, the balcony has been adorned with over a hundred petunias, and the new Waldzimmer Comfort is ready: a double room with a modern bathroom and an Italian Spazio ("kitchen in a cupboard"). In addition, all sorts of "I'm leaving" challenges have been tackled. From leaky bathrooms to malfunctioning washing machines and from bee nests in the window frame to the challenging German bureaucracy.

In short, will we see you soon in sunny Sauerland? The Waldhof has recently been recognized as a "Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland" (Quality Guest for Hiking in Germany). So, if you're a hiker, you're definitely in the right place. By the way, the new room is available to book starting this month!
