Annual and cattle market in Bad Arolsen

At the beginning of August, the area around Königsberg transforms into a bustling (cattle) market covering some 10 hectares. Every year, around 60 amusement ride operators, 60 hospitality businesses, and 120 artisans gather here, complemented by no fewer than 200 market stalls. The Arolsen Annual and Cattle Market – the largest folk festival in North Hesse – consistently attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors.

There's plenty of entertainment for all ages: spectacular fairground attractions, cozy eateries, and refreshing drink stalls create an unforgettable atmosphere. The market stalls offer a diverse selection, from classic tablecloths to contemporary art and stylish home decor.

In the 2,000 m² craft area, traditional techniques and modern creations are brought to life. Visitors can discover unique products and take advantage of attractive trade fair offers.
